EXR 31 – Masai Mara (2 nights / 3 days safari)
DAY 1 NAIROBI-MASAI MARA L,D
A morning drive via the Rift Valley to Masai Mara, 1510 square kilometers of rolling grasslands, interspersed by riverine forest and rock outcrops . This spectacular landscape is inhabited by a vast quantity of wildlife ranging from the “Big Five” right down to the smallest, but often the most colourful birds and animals. Afternoon game viewing. Spend the next two nights at a luxury lodge, full board.
DAY 2 MASAI MARA B,L,D
A full day game viewing in Masai Mara. There is plenty of game to be seen all year round, but the greatest spectacle occurs when the vast herds of Wildebeest and Zebra migrate into the area from Serengeti sometime between June and November.
DAY 3 MARA-NAIROBI B
After breakfast return to Nairobi, arriving before lunch.
EXR 32 – Amboseli (2 nights/3days safari)
DAY 1 NAIROBI-AMBOSELI D
Depart and drive south, crossing the Masai plains to Amboseli National park. Game viewing drive en route through the park. Spend the next 2 nights at a luxury lodge.
DAY 2 AMBOSELI B,L,D
Morning and afternoon game viewing amongst the herds of Elephant, Giraffe, Cheetah, Hippo, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Antelope and many others.
DAY 3 AMBOSELI-NAIROBI B
After breakfast return to Nairobi, arriving before lunch.
EXR 42 – Nakuru & Masai Mara (3 nights / 4 days safari)
DAY 1 NAIROBI-NAKURU L,D
A scenic morning drive from Nairobi, descending into the Great Rift valley to Lake Nakuru. From afar, its pink necklace slowly reveals itself to be millions of Flamingo lining the shore. Afternoon game viewing along the lake shore. Overnight at a lodge or luxury camp near the lake.
DAY 2 MASAI MARA B,L,D
A picturesque morning drive to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive. Two nights are spent at a lodge or luxury camp in the Mara.
DAY 3 MASAI MARA B,L,D
A full day game viewing with plenty of time to look for the “Big Five”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino,Buffalo and Leopard.
DAY 4 MASAI MARA-NAIROBI B
Return to Nairobi, arriving before lunch.
EXR 52 – Abderdares / Nakuru / Masai Mara – 4 nights (5 days safari)
DAY 1 NAIROBI-ABERDARES L,D
Drive North to the Aberdare mountains. Lunch at a country hotel. Evening game observation with dinner and overnight at the Ark or Treetops forest lodge.
DAY 2 NAKURU B,L,D
Descend from the lush highlands into the Rift Valley. Afternoon game drive around l a ke Nakuru, seasonal home to millions of Flamingo. Overnight at a lodge.
DAY 3 MASAI MARA B,L,D
Continue this morning to Masai Mara. Afternoon game viewing. Spend the next two nights at a lodge or luxury tented camp.

A full day game viewing in the Mara.
DAY 5 MASAI MARA-NAIROBI B
A scenic morning drive to Nairobi, arriving before lunch.

Day 1 NAIROBI – MASAI MARA L,D
Morning drive across the great Rift valley to Masai Mara. Afternoon game viewing. Spend the next 2 nights at Mara Sopa lodge or similar.
Day 2 MASAI MARA B,L,D
A full day game viewing in the Mara.
Day 3 LAKE NAIVASHA B,L,D
Return to the Rift valley and on to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon boat trip on the lake, one of the prime bird watching areas in East Africa. Overnight at Naivasha Sopa lodge with splendid views over the lake.
Day 4 AMBOSELI B,L,D
Drive via Nairobi to Amboseli, crossing the Athi plains, home of the colourful Masai tribes. Spend the next 2 nights at Amboseli Sopa lodge or similar.
Day 5 AMBOSELI B,L,D
Morning and afternoon game viewing in Amboseli park and, with luck, a magnificent view of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Day 6 NAIROBI B
Morning drive back to Nairobi where the tour ends.
EXR 72 – 6 nights / 7 days safari
DAY 1 NAIROBI- SAMBURU L,D
Drive through ever changing landscapes to the arid plains of Samburu. Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Spend the next 2 nights are spent at Samburu Serena lodge or similar.
DAY 2 SAMBURU B,L,D
Morning and afternoon game viewing in Samburu or Buffalo Springs, a remote and dramatically beautiful area of arid bush country, brought to life by the Uaso Nyiro river on which the wildlife depend. It’s unique and compelling features are the stunning landscapes and unusual species of animal such as the handsome Oryx, longn e c ked Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra and Kudu. Along the river trails, marked by ancient Doum palms, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, Hippo and Crocodile may be found.
DAY 3 MOUNT KENYA B,L,D
Morning drive back to the highlands. Continue deep into the forests of Mount Kenya for overnight at Mountain lodge. Safe in the comfort of the lodge, guests can observe the animals gathering to drink at the floodlit waterhole until well into the night.
DAY 4 LAKE NAKURU B,L,D
Descend from the lush highlands into the Rift Valley with its stunning volcanic landscapes. lunch and afternoon bird watching around Lake Nakuru, seasonal home to millions of flamingo and a multitude of other exotic bird life. Lake Nakuru park also contains prolific wildlife and is a great place to see rhino. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or luxury camp overlooking the lake.
DAY 5 MASAI MARA B,L,D
A morning drive to Masai Mara game reserve, passing by the dormant Longonot volcano and arriving in time for lunch at a lodge. Continue during the afternoon through the reserve, game viewing en route The next two nights are spent at Mara Serena lodge or similar.
DAY 6 MASAI MARA B,L,D
A full day game viewing in the Mara, Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve. Elephant and buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands impala, gazelle, wildebeest and zebra can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal. Lesser known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, eland and dik-dik create a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife.
DAY 7 MASAI MARA-NAIROBI B
A scenic morning drive back to Nairobi, arriving before lunch.
