KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM 2 HRS
Originally the home of Karen Blixen, who came to Kenya from Denmark in the early part of this century,the present museum site is at the heart of the larger coffee plantation run by Blixen between 1914 and 1931.The house was restored by the Danish government and was used during the filming of Out of Africa,which immortalized Karen Blixen,s book by the same name.The museum has beautifully landscaped gardens and an encompassing view Nogng Hills.
LAKE NAKURU PARK FULL DAY
Drive through the breath taking view of the Rift Valley,Mt, Longonot,Lake Naivasha.Lake Elementaita and to Nakuru.Lake Nakuru is the home of masses of flamingoes,and a large species of other birds can be seen here.
In garden surroundings Water Buck Reed Buck,Impala,Thomson s Gazelle and Buffalo area also easily seen.Lunch is provided either in a lodge or a camp in the Park.After lunch the tour return to Nairobi,arriving at about 18:00hrs.
THE CARNIVORE MEAT EATERS EXPERIENCE (LUNCH OR DINNER).
The Carnivore is considered Africas Greatest Eating Experience.This open air meat specially restaurant has strikingly different food,service and atmosphere.Every type of meat imaginable,including choices of wild game,are roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge,visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.

Morning spent sorting and organizing personal equipment for the mountain trek.Lunch at the base lodge. In the afternoon drive to the roadhead of the Naro Moru track to the Met.Station where we spend the night in very comfortable log cabins.A good day for acclimatization, for we will be sleeping at an altitude of 10,000 ft. After an early breakfast, begin the circumnavigation of the main peaks by heading north. An alpine ascent of the third highest peak. Pt. Lenana up the north face which is little used by tourists.The top should be reached after about four hours of stiff walking.Alttude of Pt.
